Hmm, you've probably noticed that Satoshi has a Chinese-style outfit and Risa has a Japanese-style outfit. Fits perfectly to me.

ADDITIONALLY
The idea came to me when I was reading the omake or "Special Night" on the 3rd volume of DNAngel where it says (and I quote):

"[Satoshi]...also likes girls that look good in kimonos and don't have many secrets. As long as they're decent looking."

So, yes, we now know that he does like girls. Females. Humans of his opposite sex. Etc.
